Lanzarote › Video › Timanfaya National Park Timanfaya National Park is maybe the most important tourist attraction on Lanzarote Island. Designated a Biosphere reserve in 1993 by UNESCO, this Spanish national park is situated in the southwestern part of the island from Tinajo to Yaiza. In order to protect the flora and the fauna, the access to the park by the public is regulated. Tourist can take visit the park by camel, by foot on the two footpaths and by bus on a road that is otherwise closed to the public. Go to top
