Castillo de San Gabriel is a structure with overwhelming historic reputation, which was used as a site of military and strategic significance until the 1950s. However, in the 1970s a museum of archeology and ethnography was set out in this castle. Besides the museum as such, the castle in itself is valuable as to its historic importance, dating back no later than the 1571.
