La Finca de las Salinas is a splendid rural hotel which abounds in creativity and originality. It is an old 18th century mansion which in its day was acquired by D. Jaime Lleo, a licenced pharmacist, who dedicated himself (among other things) to the exportation of salt to the rest of the island as well as abroad. Within his property, the Las Salinas ( salt beds) are a natural place of interest for tourists, where the salt can be collected directly from the shore of the Atlantic sea.
